Alone I am in this park
I am alone in days now dark
Faceless. Emotionless.
Colorless. Motionless.
Kids today, play no more
Just staring at a box with lights, fingers pounding the screen until they're sore
I used to be their ride
And they would eagarly rise
Flying into skies, or through space and time
I took away gravity
Allowed weightlessness
Even for a second, no one could mess with them
Alas, I still hope & pray
That someday
It won't be just wind that makes me sway
